MARTINE GRENON-LAFONTAINE | BOW VALLEY CHAPTER LEADER

Keri lives and breathes the mountains and not just by living in them. She is an avid ultra marathoner in the dirt and in the snow on her snowshoes. Keri moved to the Bow Valley in 2020 after spending most of her life visiting the area to adventure.

Keri has taken her passion for the outdoors beyond just getting out there but educating others how to do it safely as well. She certifies other guides in all 4 seasons for the Outdoor Council of Canada as well as a guide all 4 seasons herself.

Keri got into guiding as way to educate people on the land we recreate on so that they too will help preserve it for the future generations. As a Mother and a Grandmother, it is very important to share what she sees climate change is doing right here in her backyard to preserve it for the future generations.  Example is the receding glaciers.

As a POW Chapter leader she hopes by sharing her knowledge she can create a ripple effect and keep the conversation going.
