Submission to apply: Friday August 11th
POW Canada is joining Arc'teryx for another year of their epic Climb Academy in Squamish Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, BC, from August 22-24, 2025! Three days to drop into informative clinics, engaging films, inspiring athlete talks, fun music, and more.
We need your help!
All weekend long, Junction Park & O'Siyam Pavilion (AKA Pavilion Park) becomes a lively downtown vendor village, filled with community partner activations, games, live music, youth climbing opportunities and more. The hours are:
Friday August 22nd
- 10am - 6pm
Saturday August 23rd
- 10am - 6pm
Sunday August 24th
- 10am - 4pm
And this is where you come in.
We need a crew of dedicated volunteers who can help run the POW Canada booth throughout the weekend. Your job: building the POW stoke and getting members signed up, letting people know about our advocacy campaigns, and giving away untold amounts of stickers. Our Community Advocacy Manager, Steph, will be there to help support and troubleshoot as needed.
Shifts are 4 hours each, from either 10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm (with Sunday's final shift including tear-down from 4-6pm). Choose as many as you'd like!
If you have questions, or want to join in but the shift is full or you need more flexibility, please reach out: [email protected]. Otherwise, scroll down, fill out the form here, and mark your calendar!
Can't volunteer? Come by, say hi, and grab some stickers for you and your favourite dirtbag friend - we'd still love to see you. We've also got more events coming up, so check them all out and get involved! We love this community and couldn't do it without you.
