We know it's a bummer, but the best time to prepare for wildfire season is before the smoke rolls in. But what if it didn't have to be a pain? What if it was... fun?!
Climate action doesn’t always look like petitions and policy meetings. Sometimes it looks like getting your hands dirty with your community. On Friday June 26th, we’re teaming up with FireSmart Whistler for the first of three community work days focused on reducing wildfire risk, building more resilient forests, and bringing together people who care about protecting the places we play.
No experience required. Bring your work gloves, sturdy footwear, some old sunglasses, and a willingness to get a little dirty, and a desire to help protect the places you play.
Bring a friend and sign up today. But hurry - spots are limited! Once capacity is reached, additional RSVPs will be added to a waitlist.
