We know it's a bummer, but our region is not immune to wildfire risk. What if it didn't have to be a pain, though? What if it was... fun?!
Climate action doesn’t always look like petitions and policy meetings. Sometimes it looks like getting your hands dirty with your community. On SATURDAY JULY 25TH, we’re teaming up with FireSmart Whistler for the third of three community work days focused on reducing wildfire risk, building more resilient forests, and bringing together people who care about protecting the places we play.
No experience required. If you've got some work gloves, sturdy footwear, and some old sunnies, bring them! Otherwise we'll have spares. All you really need is a willingness to get a little dirty, and a desire to help protect the places you play.
Bring a friend and sign up today. But hurry - spots are limited! Once capacity is reached, additional RSVPs will be added to a waitlist.
