Lucia grew up in the exciting core of Toronto, Ontario in an active and passionate family of athletes, artists and academics. Having started as an Irish dancer and soccer player, Lucia found her love for running at age 12 and joined the University of Toronto Track Club, where the amazing outdoor community cemented her love for the sport.

Lucia collected numerous National Titles and competed on a number of international teams throughout her undergraduate degree at U of T, where she studied Civil Engineering and Sustainability. At 22, she competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in the women’s 1500m and finished 13th. Now, she balances her ambition in her sport as she trains for Paris, with her passion for art, music, hiking, and environmental justice.
