Protect Our Winters Edmonton Chapter is thrilled to announce our first ever POW Edmonton Run for Winter Event! This event is graciously supported by Arc'teryx Edmonton.
Join us while we jog/run around the Edmonton River Valley in celebration of Winter! No matter your skill level, pace, or ability, there are no prerequisites to being an outdoor enthusiast. We believe no one should run alone, so come for the camaraderie, brave the cold, and show your winter stoke!
Event Details: Saturday, March 25.
Registration is by donation (recommended starting at $10), with all proceeds donated to POW Canada. Registration includes participation in the run and one pre-paid beverage courtesy of Arc'teryx Edmonton!
Check-in starts at 11:45am MST at Odd Company Brewing.
We will do a quick route overview and warm up at 12:00 pm MST. Participants will complete approximately a 5.5km running loop, the exact route can be found here.
The run will start shortly after, so please be on time!
However if you want to come and meet like-minded people without running, we will have tables reserved! Please feel free to arrive during the run, we estimate the loop to take around 30-45 minutes.
Post-run, meet back at Odd Company Brewing for a celebratory beverage and to learn about what POW Edmonton and Arc'teryx Edmonton has planned for the upcoming months!
