POW Canada is joining the Whistler Outdoor Festival from October 9-11, 2026 at the Whistler Conference Centre! Three days of mountain adventure, outdoor culture, and everything in between.
We need your help!
Volunteers are essential during events to help us show up in the community, gain new members, and build solidarity in the outdoors community. We couldn't do it without you! The shifts needed to fill are below (choose as many as you'd like):
Friday October 9th: Whistler Blackcomb's "HOME" Global Film Premier
- 4:30 - 7pm (prior to film) and 9:30pm - 10pm (take-down)
- 2 volunteers needed
Saturday October 10th: Banff Center Mountain Film Festival World Tour
- 5:30 - 7pm (prior to film) and 10:00pm - 10:30pm (take-down)
- 2 volunteers needed
Sunday October 11th: POW Canada Town Hall and Panel Discussion: Protecting the Places We Play
- 10:30am - 3:30pm
- 1/2 volunteers needed (1 SPOT LEFT)
This is where you come in.
Your job: Building the POW stoke and getting members signed up, letting people know about our advocacy campaigns, and giving away untold amounts of stickers. Ready? Fill out the form here, and mark your calendar!
