NEWS: Altitude Sports announces the return of the Alti Action donation program for 2019 in partnership with leading environmental organizations the World Wildlife Foundation Canada & PROTECT OUR WINTERS Canada. Alti Action 2019 runs until May 12.
Montreal, Quebec, April 24, 2019: Altitude Sports is pleased to announce the return of our Alti Action donation program running until May 12. For Spring 2019, we have partnered with environmental organizations the World Wildlife Foundation Canada (WWF-Canada) and PROTECT OUR WINTERS Canada (POW) to promote sustainable and green initiatives corresponding to our values as an eCommerce business.
Our partnership allows our customers to donate $15 to either WWF-Canada or POW Canada and receive 30 Alti Dollars applicable to any future purchase on our website. The donation is non-refundable and there is a limit of a single $15 donation per season.
For nearly 60 years, WWF has been at the forefront of nature conservation. WWF-Canada operates both local and global initiatives, including unique ways of working to combine their reach with foundations in science, and ensuring innovative solutions to meet the needs of both people and nature.
POW Canada’s mission is to turn passionate outdoor enthusiasts into effective climate advocates by educating, advocating, and inspiring communities and stakeholders. They believe a love of adventure in nature mandates the participation of outdoor enthusiasts in the fight to save and protect the environment.
In 2018, Alti Action donations contributed $88,000 to partner organizations Toronto-based Right To Play, Montreal’s Old Mission Brewery, and Vancouver’s Zero Ceiling. Since its inception in 2017, Alti Action has raised over $110,000 dollars for our partner organizations.
