Why This Partnership Matters

Arc’teryx has been a founding partner of POW Canada since day one, sharing our belief in the power of the outdoor community to drive real, systemic change. Their support provides us with the funding, platform, and opportunities to do what we do best: mobilizing the outdoor industry to advocate for climate solutions. As a leader in the industry, Arc’teryx helps amplify our message, expand our reach to a wider audience of outdoor enthusiasts, and strengthen our credibility when pushing for policy change. With their backing, we’re able to take our campaigns further and make an even greater impact in protecting the places we love.

What we like about Arc’teryx

Their ReBIRD™ Program:

What we love about Arc’teryx is their commitment to circularity through the ReBIRD™ platform, ensuring gear lasts as long as possible. ReBIRD Service Centres provide repairs, technical washing, and gear assessments, while their resale program gives pre-owned pieces a second life. By keeping gear in play, Arc’teryx isn’t just making products—they’re making sure they live on.

Their Community Events:

Arc’teryx is all about building an inclusive community and bringing people together to learn, connect, and take action. Through events like outdoor clinics, workshops, and speaker series, they create spaces for meaningful conversations and shared experiences. By fostering connections between adventurers, creators, and changemakers, Arc’teryx strengthens the outdoor community and drives the movement to protect the places we love.

What we’ve accomplished together

#GiveTheGiftOfPOW - Fundraising

Throughout December 2024, Arc’teryx amplified our community's impact by matching every single donation made from December 1st to 31st. Their support, alongside the voices of shared athletes like Greg Hill helped us inspire action and reach new heights. Thanks to Arc’teryx and everyone who shared and supported the campaign, we not only met our fundraising goal but exceeded it—raising a total of $50,753!

Arc’teryx Backcountry & Climbing Academies - Community Building

Arc’teryx brings POW Canada into their community through their Academies, giving us a key platform to connect with outdoor enthusiasts. At the Backcountry and Climbing Academies, we host POW Chats, engage at our booth, and amplify our mission. In 2024, Arc’teryx deepened their support, raising $8,000 through ticket sales to fuel our work. Their commitment turns outdoor passion into climate action, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going!

Run For Winter event series - Community Building

Run for Winter is more than just a run—it’s a community-driven event that unites outdoor enthusiasts, climate advocates, and POW Canada members to take action. Led by dedicated volunteers and open to all levels, these runs inspire connection and collective impact. With support from Arc’teryx and local sponsors, the 2024 series spanned 7 cities, engaged 500+ runners, partnered with 4 local businesses and 4 running clubs, and raised over $5,400 to protect the places we love.

4 years of Garage Sale - Fundraising

Every year, Arc’teryx steps up to support our biggest fundraising campaign—The Garage Sale! This event brings together 10+ of your favorite athletes and their incredible sponsors to raffle off next-level gear packages, with all proceeds fueling POW Canada’s fight for a livable future. Arc’teryx is always first in line, teaming up with Greg Hill to offer an exclusive ReGEAR™ prize pack, taking the Garage Sale to the next level by showcasing the power of circularity. Thanks to their support, this campaign helps us raise around $15,000 each year!

Season Openers - Community Building & Fundraising

In October 2024, we teamed up once again with MEC, and Arc’teryx to celebrate the start of the winter season and inspire their community to take collective action to protect it. With 9 locations, connecting with 1,150+ outdoor enthusiasts, we hosted inspiring films, engaging conversations with pro athletes, and giveaways, all aimed at rallying the community to take meaningful climate action raising $43,300 to protect the places we love.

We're kind of crushing it, aren't we?
