This week, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), is releasing a new report providing the most updated and comprehensive understanding of climate change, both now and into the future. The report is the culmination of a five-year assessment from 234 leading scientists hailing from more than 60 countries. For that reason, it’s relevant to everyone: individuals, communities, businesses and all levels of government.
This week we’ll distill and share some of the high-level findings but for now, let’s have some fun! “Because IPCC” (created by a member of our Ottawa Chapter) is a fictional graphic novel set 100 years in the future at a time when the climate crisis has been resolved. The book explains how the IPCC works and the achievements it’s made.
