BUILD POW MEMBERSHIP

By organizing, educating and empowering Canada's massive outdoor community to take a stance on climate, we can have a powerful influence on climate policy in our country. There is power in numbers and we look to our Resort Alliance members to create opportunities to help build POW Canada’s membership. POW membership is totally free and it is super easy to join.  Below are a few ideas and designs we have for ways you can help build membership at your resort, or feel free to come up with and design your own! 

• Showcase POW posters or table tents at the ticket counter, on restaurant tables, hotel rooms, at the rental shop and in bathrooms where guests can easily scan the POW QR code to become a member.
• Add a "Become a Member of Protect our Winters" to the sign up form for seasons pass holders. 
• Invite our nearest Regional Chapter to your resort for a membership drive- they can set up the POW tent at the base of your resort and get new members signed up.
• Provide discounts for seasons passes, lift tickets, retail shop, rentals and restaurant services for POW members.
• Hold a monthly POW day where POW members receive discounted lift tickets, rentals and lessons at your resort.
• Add a link to our member sign up page on your website.
