The Ontario government is proposing to release 7,400 hectares of protected greenspace to housing developers. Under the proposed Bill23, our province's biodiversity would be put at significant risk - the spaces that clean our water and air and act as vital corridors for wildlife would be demolished.

Affordable housing in Ontario is essential, but new housing estates for the wealthy is not the right way to go, especially when it puts our unique forests and wetlands at risk.
