The current climate chaos of wildfires, droughts, flooding etc., is the result of 1 degree warming. Simply stated, some areas of the world will be uninhabitable and the rest of the world will see unimaginable extreme weather, unless we take bold action immediately. We thought long and hard about sharing this post. Generally we like to keep our messaging positive and affirmative, but sometimes a reality check is needed.
As we enter a federal election and the world’s scientists are signalling CODE RED, it’s time to put politics aside and REALLY prioritize climate. Aggressive policy is critically important as well as funding for the wildcard or breakthrough technologies capable of removing carbon from the atmosphere. It’s time for us to rise up. Every generation has it’s pinnacle issue to address and ours in climate change. #GenerationClimate
