THE OPPORTUNITY
Protect Our Winters is looking to hire a Marketing Content Coordinator. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Content Coordinator helps make sure that POW Canada’s online presence stays rad. You will help us create cutting edge content that engages Canada’s outdoor enthusiasts, helping them to become effective climate advocates, and positioning POW Canada as the leading representative of the outdoor community on climate issues.
The right person for this role lives and breathes digital. You’re on top of the latest social media trends and love finding new and creative ways to tell stories and engage online audiences, whether through video, photography, graphics, memes, or your sharp content writing skills. You also nerd out on all things web, from SEO and analytics to web editing, providing data-based insights to help us continuously improve our campaign effectiveness and donor reach.
Ideally, you have a deep connection to the outdoor community. You ski, board, bike or climb (or maybe all of that and more!) and you speak the language of the outdoors. You know who the athletes and influencers are, and you’re passionate about building an online community that’s stoked, inclusive and makes an impact.
