At POW Canada, our partners are part of our organization and our community. It is thanks to them that we are capable of doing great things. Not only they financially support our work, they also help us develop meaningful and impactful programs, events and campaigns, they put POW at the front to help us raise awareness on the impact of climate change, inspire their community to follow POW and grow our membership base.

The Partner Alliance is a coalition of brand partners in the outdoor industry who share our values and mission of protecting our playgrounds to ensure a future for winter and summer sports. To achieve our goals as a not-for-profit organization, POW Canada relies on the generous support of individuals, businesses and foundations who share our vision. As such, we actively pursue grants and corporate contributions to help fund our educational, activism and advocacy programs.

In Q2 of 2022, we are very proud to announce that we’ve onboarded Vans, Oberson, Auclair, Mizu and Norva in our Partner Alliance. Which now brings us to a total of 42 brand partners who support our mission to protect the future of our playgrounds and support the Paris Climate Agreement.

Member of 1% For the Planet, Norva has decided to donate 1% of their net sales to support our mission. “Norva's adventure vehicles allow outdoor enthusiasts to live the 4 seasons to the fullest, thanks to a personalized, autonomous, versatile and high quality vehicle. Through our support to POW Canada, the Norva team wants to "protect our winters" and our playgrounds so that we can continue to play outdoors in environmental conditions that are conducive to sports activities.” Associate owners: Martin, Kathy and Mathieu

Mizu is proud to support POW Canada because of our shared mission to protect the places we play. Founded in 2008 by pro-snowboarder Jussi Oksanen as a move to cut back on the single-use plastic water bottles he witnessed on his travels, Mizu has grown to encompass a global community of like-minded people who seek out adventure, a cleaner environment, and a healthy lifestyle. 

Protect Our Winters Canada is a passionate community of enthusiasts, professional athletes and industry brands uniting the outdoor community to address climate change. We believe our love of adventure in nature demands our participation in the fight to save and protect it. Located across Canada, with over 24,000 members, 42 Brand Brand Partners, and 14 Regional Chapters, our vision is for our communities and outdoor playgrounds to be healthy, safe, and resilient to a changing climate. We envision a future where we’ve transformed our economy and energy systems and cut our carbon emissions in-line with science-based targets the world agreed to in the Paris Climate Agreement.
