GET INVOLVED WITH QUÉBEC CITY EVENTS AND ADVOCACY

Do you love where you live and all the amazing places you get to explore? You want to give back to the community but also to nature surrounding you? We might just have the perfect opportunity! Our Québec City Chapter is looking for passionate volunteers to join our local POW chapter!

We’re expanding our efforts from community development and climate education into climate action and environmental impact. We need a team of volunteers to help us pull our efforts forward. We are looking for anyone interested in community outreach or climate action! Click "Become A Volunteer" below to join the group and learn more. 

If a volunteer role is not the one for you, but you would still like to be involved in your local POW Chapter, check out our local Facebook group and Strava club for more ways to get involved close to home!

Did you know that over 70% of Québec City's GHG emissions come from road traffic? We're ready to ride towards a greener future. With a 150km cycling network connecting the different neighbourhoods of the city, we are celebrating the health, economic and environmental outcomes that will come from more cycling access for our community. 

Our Québec City chapter aims to raise awareness about active transportation in the local community through education and cycling events. At these events POW Members can share ideas and routes, letting people know what is possible.
