Come meet local outdoor athletes at an event hosted by the *new* Bow Valley Protect Our Winters Chapter!

Graham McDowell, Kylee Toth, Chic Scott, Jim Elzinga, and Adam Campbell will discuss how climate change has historically and will continue to shift the mountain environments surrounding the Bow Valley. A warming world will alter the way we can work and play in the alpine. At this event, local athletes, scientists, guides, and creatives will share stories/ experiences with the community to help us understand that climate is not just a problem in the Arctic, or the Marshall Islands, but in our own backyard.

This is a free event hosted at a local brewery. Anyone can come by, listen, and join the climate conversation. There will be attendance prizes!
