Protect Our Winters Canada acknowledges Indigenous Peoples throughout Canada as traditional owners and custodians of the land and whose traditional knowledge needs to be central to meaningful action on climate change. This includes Inuit, Métis and more than 900,000 people living in more than 630 First Nations communities, and in cities and towns across these lands.
