How To Participate

1. Register (RSVP)
2. Take action (choose any activity)
3. Share a post and/or a story highlighting an action you’re taking for the Earth and tag @protectourwinterscanada & nominate 3 friends. Each post counts as one entry.

Get Your Hands Dirty:

• Join or organize a local clean-up (school, workplace, or neighbourhood)
• Pick up litter on your favourite trail, beach, or park
• Start a garden or plant native species at home

Get Outside:

• Go for a hike, ride, or walk (and make sure to Leave No Trace!)
• Take a slow nature walk and actually observe your surroundings (taking a dog on a sniffari helps the pace :))
• Learn to identify local plants, trees, or wildlife
• Bike, walk or use transit instead of driving

Use Your Voice

• Share why Earth Day is important to you
• Put a POW sticker on your gear or water bottle (where permitted 👀)
• Call your local representative and tell them ______
• Bring up climate over coffee, après, or a group chat
• Sign a petition

Big or small, serious or fun… If it shows love for the planet, it counts!
