GET INVOLVED WITH EDMONTON EVENTS AND ADVOCACY

Do you love where you live and all the amazing places you get to explore? You want to give back to the community but also to nature surrounding you? We might just have the perfect opportunity! Our Vancouver Chapter is looking for passionate volunteers to join our local POW chapter!

We’re expanding our efforts from community development and climate education into climate action and environmental impact. We need a team of volunteers to help us pull our efforts forward. We are looking for anyone interested in community outreach or climate action! Click "Become A Volunteer" below to join the group and learn more.

POW Edmonton and the Edmonton Mountain Bike Alliance are launching an impactful climate action initiative in the Edmonton River Valley. Focused on trail maintenance and cleanup, this effort not only enhances recreation but also underscores the vital connection between outdoor activities and conservation.

As Edmonton begins consultations for the National Urban Park designation, this initiative positions the POW Canada as a crucial voice in showcasing the diverse values of our natural spaces. Join us in making a tangible difference and advocating for our environment!
