GOGGLESOC, SUSTAINABLE IN THEIR ROOTS
gogglesoc, a Whistler-based company, has been a partner of Protect Our Winters since 2017 and each year, they produce a beautiful design to support POW by raising awareness on our mission and raising extra funds.
Did you know that gogglesocs are made of post-consumer recycled plastic bottles? At gogglesoc, they try to reduce their ecological footprint as much as possible. This is why they make all eyewear accessories out of rPET, a fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.
They recognise they can't change the world alone, but by making gogglesocs from recycled plastic bottles they are doing their part to conserve our resources and keep waste out of our landfills.

They didn't stop at making their eyewear accessories out of upcycled materials - their premium displays are made out of recycled chopsticks! 90,000 chopsticks are thrown away every day in Vancouver alone. That’s why they’ve engineered one-of-a-kind merchandise displays out of recycled chopsticks! Each display recycles hundreds of chopsticks and for the bigger displays, thousands of chopsticks! To date, they’ve recycled over 2.8 million of chopsticks and turned them into their product displays.
